The Company
Our company, Ernest D. Menold, Inc., bears the name of its founder, a
skilled sheet metal worker who started his own company in 1947.
With a fabricating facility about the size of a one-car garage, we
started by serving industrial and pharmaceutical companies in the
Philadelphia area. From the very beginning we developed expertise
in the fabrication and installation of dust and fume control systems
for grain and sugar mills, sophisticated HVAC systems and specialty
stainless steel fabrications for pharmaceutical companies, special
cooling systems for power generating plants, paper mill maintenance
and upgrade projects, and a variety of other special services for
the industrial and commercial market. We are especially proud of
the fact that several of our earliest customers are still steady
customers today.
Over the years our size and capabilities have increased, but our focus
remains the same: Customer Service. In addition to all the services
listed above, our trained staff and skilled workforce can test and
balance new or existing air handling systems. Our firm is a
certified member of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau
(NEBB) and all of our work in this area is subject to their rigid
standards.
We are also longstanding members of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning
Contractors National Association (SMACNA), and its local chapter,
the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Philadelphia and Vicinity
(SMCA). We are also members of the American Society of Heating,
Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The
leadership of our company has been involved in many committees and
task forces associated with both of these organizations on the
national and local levels.
What we are about can best be summed up in our Mission Statement, which reads:
It is the mission of Ernest D. Menold, Inc. to enhance the business operations of our customers by safely, efficiently, and expertly meeting their needs in any areas requiring our extensive technical expertise, experience, and the skills of our trained workforce.
We will consider ourselves successful in accomplishing this mission only when we exceed our customers' expectations for service, safety, and quality workmanship, at reasonable costs.
Please feel free to E-mail or call us with any inquiries about our capabilities for any of your sheet metal fabrication or installation needs.
