Our adherence to your safety standards (which may exceed OSHA's) is coordinated with your required turnover timetable, which Menold is committed to accommodate.
• Design, fabrication and installation of air-handling, fume control, process drying, dust collection, air conveying, general heating and ventilating systems
• Ductwork fabricated from carbon steel up to 1/4-inch thick or stainless steel up to 3/16-inch thick, with gasketed or welded flanges if required. AWS certified weld procedures and can be provided when specified.
• We can roll angle and flat bar ring flanges up to 1/2-inch thickness.
• Grinding, polishing ductwork interiors for contact with product, fabricated to SMACNA Industrial Duct Construction Standards.
• For special corrosive application, we can furnish and install duct and air-handling equipment from FRP (fiberglass-reinforced plastic).
• Refurbishing, upgrading older air-handlers, scrubbers, process drying hoods, and ovens on 'round-the-clock schedules to minimize your downtime. Our rigging experience is vital here, because in the upgrading process we often handle equipment and machinery weighing many tons.
• Advanced CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and manufacturing) processes in ductwork and related plasma-arc-cutting and fabrication.
• Design, fabrication and installation of single- or double- wall fan/coil air handling units; with optional prewiring and premounted controls - a time-saving advantage at job sites; Custom fabrication allows us to reduce standard factory lead times by 50% or more in most cases. These units can also be shipped knocked-down for on-site assembly in tight spaces.
• Refurbishing or replacing process drying hoods on paper making machines. We have performed this work on paper machines in the Philadelphia area and Connecticut.
