For most of our flat cutting, we use a 2200 Watt CO2
laser. This Laser cutting machine can clean cut stainless steel up
to 1/2" thick. This eliminates secondary edge preparations for
welding and forming stainless steel.
CAD files can be imported direct to the machine for cutting or etching
the surfaces of parts. This etching is useful for part
identification, especially in Pharmaceutical GMP environments.
This laser cutting machine allows us to cut high tolerance parts (+/- 0.005") at speeds up to 200 inches per minute, depending on material type and thickness. We can cut steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastic and wood using this state-of-the art machine.
Using AutoCAD software, we can draw any part and download into our plasma or laser cutting machines. We can also "reverse engineer" any existing part you have, and duplicate it in our shop.
