Our Metal Fabrication Capabilities

Materials in Stock

We maintain a wide variety of materials in stock to respond to customer needs, such as: sheet and plates, angles, channels, "i" beams, bar, rod, and other structural shapes.

All of the above items are available in steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

We also stock plate and diamond plate in aluminum, steel and stainless steel. We work with brass, copper, and some exotic alloys such as Hastelloy and Incolloy.

Laser Cutting & AutoCAD

We use a Mitsubishi 4000 Watt CO2 Laser. It has a shuttle table system so one table can be loaded and unloaded while the other table is being cut.

Our laser can cut up to 1” steel, ¾” stainless steel and 1/5” aluminum with clean cuts. It can cut 16 gauge stainless steel at feed rates of over 300 inches per minute. We can also cut aluminum, different plastics, and wood.

Our laser's input software is compatible with AutoCAD, so parts are readily downloadable to the machine from CAD files. We can draw any part and download into our plasma or laser cutting machines. We can also "reverse engineer" any existing part you have, and duplicate it in our shop.

Welding Capabilities

Our welding processes are Shielded Metal Arc (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG), Gas Metal Arc (MIG), Flux Core Arc (FCAW), and Plasma Arc Welding.

We weld parts in the shop and field according to American Welding Society (AWS) standards. We can provide certified procedures and welding technicians if required. Supplementary training and certification is offered through the Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 Joint Apprentice Training Center in Philadelphia, which is also an AWS Accredited Weld Test Facility.

Detailing Software

We can roll form or bend metal parts up to 1/4” thick. Our detailers can develop parts with 3D modeling, and download the patterns to both the laser cutter and our computer aided press brakes.
