Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues. Men are dying six years younger than women, and for largely preventable reasons. As a Company, we strive to take a dynamic approach to Safety, which we consider to be much more than just avoiding workplace injuries. We strive to continually develop our workforce's safety, health, and well-being. Our goal by participating in Movember as a Company is to start conversation around men's health and get people to take action.

Movember funds groundbreaking health projects, – 1,250 and counting – uniting experts from all over the world to accelerate research, progress and change in these areas.
The month of Movember is globally recognized for its fun, disruptive approach to fundraising and the unique ways it prompts men to take action for their health. Much like wearing pink in October to draw awareness to breast cancer, men use their mustaches in Movember to draw awareness to these big men’s health issues.
As a company that considers Safety a value that comes along with the work we provide, it is our belief that safety extends past PPE, jobsite rules/regulations, and industry best practices. We take action to ensure our Company's Safety Culture is a working environment where an employee's health and safety is valued and supported.
Knowing men statistically die younger than females, and that there are societal misconceptions that mental health issues within men is a sign of personal weakness and not 'manly', Ernest D. Menold, Inc. participates and raises funds for the Movember Foundation. We have participated in Movember since 2021 as a Company, creating company Movember t-shirts each year for personnel who pledge to participate in Movember in one of four ways:
